PRIVACY POLICY

Your habits never leave your phone.

Flaric has no accounts and no servers of its own. There is nothing for us to collect, because your data stays on your device.

LAST UPDATED 2 SEPTEMBER 2026
The short version
✓
No account, no email address, no sign-in. You can use every feature anonymously.
✓
Your habits, streaks, notes and goals are stored in a database on your own device.
✓
We do not run analytics on what you track, and we do not sell or share anything.
✓
Apple Health data is read only when you allow it, and it is never written back or uploaded.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the Flaric iPhone and Apple Watch app and to this website. Flaric is published by the developer identified on the App Store listing; contact details are at the end of this page.

By using Flaric you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What we store on your device

Habits you create, their icons, colours and schedules; completions and the dates they happened; streak counts and freeze tokens; goals; milestone badges; notes you write; and your app settings such as reminder times and theme.

This information lives in Flaric’s local database on your device, protected by the operating system. It is included in your own device backups if you have them switched on, which is between you and Apple.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, advertising identifier or the content of your habits. There is no Flaric account and no Flaric server holding your history.

We do not use third-party advertising or tracking software development kits, and Flaric does not build a profile of you.

Apple Health

If you connect Apple Health, Flaric reads only the metrics you approve — for example step count, sleep duration, workouts or mindful minutes — and only to mark a matching habit as complete.

Health data is processed on your device, is never written back to Health, and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. You can withdraw access at any time in the iOS Settings app or in Flaric’s settings.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally by your device. Flaric does not use push notifications sent from a server, so no habit information is transmitted to deliver a reminder.

Purchases

Optional subscriptions and one-time purchases are handled entirely by Apple. Apple tells the app whether an entitlement is active; we never see your payment details.

Apple’s own privacy policy governs that transaction. Receipts, refunds and cancellations are managed in your Apple account.

Diagnostics

If you choose to share crash reports and performance data with developers in your iOS privacy settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated, non-identifying diagnostics. This never includes your habits or notes. You can turn this off in iOS Settings at any time.

Your data, your control

You can edit or delete any habit and its history inside the app, export your history as a CSV file to keep or move elsewhere, and delete everything by removing the app from your device.

Because we hold no copy of your data, requests to access, correct or erase it are satisfied entirely on your device. If you have a question about how that works, write to us and we will walk you through it.

Children

Flaric is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.

This website

The Flaric website serves static pages. It sets no advertising cookies and runs no cross-site trackers. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and requested pages, for security and reliability.

Questions about your data?

Write to [email protected] and a person will answer. If you want everything gone, delete the app — that removes the database with it.
