PRIVACY POLICY

What Flaric keeps, and what it shares.

Your habits and Apple Health data stay on your devices. To see which of our ads work, Flaric shares a small set of app and purchase events with a measurement service. This page lists exactly what.

The short version
✓
No account, no email address, no sign-in.
✓
Your habits, history, goals and Apple Health data stay on your iPhone (and your Apple Watch, if you use one). We never receive them.
✓
To see which of our ads work, Flaric uses Tenjin, a measurement service. It receives basic device details and app events such as installs and purchases, never your habits or Health data.
✓
Flaric doesn’t read your advertising identifier and doesn’t ask for tracking permission.
✓
No ads in the app, and we never sell your data.

Who this policy covers

This policy covers the Flaric app and the flaric.app website, published by Unpixeled. Contact details are at the end of this page.

What stays on your devices

Your habits, their schedules and reminders, the days you marked done, days off, goals, milestones and settings are stored in Flaric’s database on your iPhone.

If you use Flaric on Apple Watch, they are copied between your iPhone and your Watch over Apple’s own connection between the two. No server is involved.

Your device backups include them if you have backups switched on. We don’t have a copy.

Apple Health

If you link a habit to Apple Health, Flaric reads only the types you allow (steps, sleep, workouts, water or mindful minutes), and only to mark that habit done.

Health data is processed on your iPhone. It is never written back to Health and never sent to us, to Tenjin or to anyone else. You can turn access off at any time in the iOS Settings app.

What Flaric shares to measure our advertising

Flaric uses Tenjin (Tenjin’s privacy policy) to measure our own advertising and to understand how the app is used. Tenjin receives:

  • device and app details: device model, iOS version, app version, language and region settings, country, time zone and IP address
  • an identifier Apple gives each developer for your device (the “identifier for vendor”), which is not the advertising identifier
  • when the app is opened, when the plans screen is shown, and when a free trial starts, a purchase is made or a trial turns into a paid subscription, with the product, the price paid and the currency, and Apple’s signed record of the transaction

If you came to Flaric from an Apple Ads advert, Apple provides an attribution token, which Flaric passes to Tenjin so we can see which searches led to installs and purchases.

This information is used only to measure Flaric’s own advertising and app performance. It isn’t used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and it isn’t combined with other companies’ data to target ads at you.

When we run adverts on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) or TikTok, those platforms may receive aggregated, anonymous install and purchase counts through Apple’s SKAdNetwork, passed on by Tenjin. These counts contain no personal data.

Purchases

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details. Receipts, refunds and cancellations are managed in your Apple account.

Notifications

Reminders and the daily summary are scheduled on your iPhone. No habit information is sent anywhere to deliver them.

Diagnostics

If you choose to share crash reports and performance data with developers in your iOS privacy settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated diagnostics. These never include your habits. You can turn this off in iOS Settings at any time.

This website

flaric.app uses Google Analytics to count visits and taps on the App Store buttons. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, browser and device type. It doesn’t tell us who you are. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, for security and reliability. The website sets no advertising cookies.

Your choices

  • Export your habits to a CSV file in Settings at any time.
  • Delete a habit, or delete the app to remove everything stored on your iPhone.
  • To ask what Tenjin holds about your device, or to have it deleted, email us and we’ll handle the request with Tenjin.

Children

Flaric isn’t directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If Flaric changes in a way that affects your privacy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top, and mention it in the App Store release notes.

Questions about your data?

Write to [email protected] and a person will answer. To remove everything on your iPhone, delete the app. For anything Tenjin holds, email us and we’ll take care of it.
